David Troutman began his studies at Cape Cod Community College in 1978, graduating with an Associates degree in Communications in 1982. In 1987, David and his brother Peter opened Scargo Cafe, a restaurant staple in Dennis, MA. In 2006, David furthered his education at Suffolk University where he received his BA in Communications.
David’s passion for giving back to his community has lead him to where he is today. He has served as the Chairman of the Board at Calmer Choice, mentors for the YMCA Achiever’s program and works as a clerk for the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. He never misses an opportunity to support his community, donating to numerous charities across the Cape and sponsoring various non-profit events throughout the year.
David still holds strong ties to Cape Cod Community College. He serves as mentor to students, is on the advisory board for the hospitality department and regularly donates to the CCCC Educational Foundation.
